For over a decade, the Lowell African Festival has become an important family event that brings together not only Africans, but all of the citizens of Greater Lowell and beyond in order to have fun and celebrate African Cultural Heritage. This year, like any other Nonprofit Organization, The African Cultural Association (ACA) is facing a huge financial hardship.
As the years go by, we learn and gain experience in order to organize better and bring a unique taste of the African Culture and fun to the people of Greater Lowell. We count on your generous support in order to bring African dance groups from various African countries to perform at the African Festival. You will enjoy delicious African Cuisine and buy 'lots of African Arts and Crafts.
Our goal is to maintain and sustain the Lowell Annual African Festival tradition in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We believe it takes a village to raise a child and it takes a community to sustain an African Cultural Festival and that little drops of water can fill an ocean.
